 Son of Dork rises from Busted's ashes  

 The phenomenal success of boy band     

 Busted became a footnote in pop history

 when the trio split up in 2005.        

                                        

 Charlie Simpson devoted himself to rock

 outfit Fightstar, while Matt Willis is 

 poised to embark on a solo career.     

                                        

 That leaves James Bourne, who has      

 regrouped with four bandmates to form  

 Son of Dork, whose debut single Ticket 

 Outta Loserville made the top three.   

                                        

 Bourne, the band's songwriter, is happy

 to draw upon the success and musical   

 legacy laid down by Busted.
