 Eriksson defiant over allegations  3/4 

 Real Madrid have insisted that David   

 Beckham will not be leaving the club,  

 despite Sven-Goran Eriksson saying he  

 was keen to return to England.         

                                        

 A Madrid spokesman said: "If an offer  

 came in for David Beckham from any     

 club, not just from England, it would  

 be rejected."                          

                                        

 Coach Juan Ramon Lopez Caro said: "I   

 think he is committed to the club."    

                                        

 A Beckham spokesman said: "There's no  

 intention to return to England. David's

 focused on doing all he can for Real."
