GLOUCESTERSHIRE (cont)
Adam discovers that in the years
leading up to the First World War,
literary history was being made in the
county when the village of Dymock
became a magnet for six poets. They
were Lascelles Abercrombie, Rupert
Brooke, John Drinkwater, Robert Frost,
Wilfrid Gibson and Edward Thomas,
who've become known as the Dymock
Poets.
Author Linda Hart takes Adam for a
stroll along some of the 'Poets Paths'
around the village and reveals what
inspired them.
