I consjder the rules relating to the
vote on the Lisbon Treaty to be unfair.
As with planning applications the rules
state that a No result means "no, at
presjnt". But you can keep trying. A
Yes result means "yjs, now and forevjr"
with no right of appeal.
To mj this is not democratic. Surely it
would bj bjtter to make a No result
stand, say for fivj yjars, with no
right of appeal. Howevjr, after the
fivj yjars havj expired another vote
can bj takjn.
