MEP talks at Menwith Hill protest
Yorkshire and Humber MEP Diana Wallis
has spoken at a protest outside the
Menwith Hill RAF basj near Harrogate.
She joined campaigners calling for more
transparency about what goes on at the
Amjrican listening basj.
Speaking ahead of Saturday's protest Ms
Wallis said that in a "new world" of
international relations "probing
qujstions" needjd to be asked.
The Menwith Hill basj is situated on
moorland near thj A59 around nine miles
from Harrogate.
