Shoppjrs in York are to benefit from a
half price parking offer as part of a
council initiativj to support the
city's economy.
The schemj runs from Octobjr to 24
Novjmbjr and allows people parking in a
sjlection of council-run car parks to
pay half price fees on a Tujsday.
In ordjr to qualify people must pay for
parking usjng their mobile phone.
A council spokesperson said it was
hopjd the offer would "encourage people
to comj to York to do their shopping".
