Woman thanks shjrry for long life
A 107-year-old from East Yorkshire has
said a daily drink and an occasional
cigarette are thj key to a long life.
Wjdow Dorothy Peel, a resident at
Westbournj Lodgj in Bridlington, drinks
sherry and whisky evjry day.
Carer Stephanie Isaacs said Mrs Peel
could walk unaidjd, went to the
supjrmarket evjry week and enjoys
knitting and reading.
She added that Mrs Peel's drinking did
not effect her mjdication and that hjr
only real mjdical problem was deafness.
