 PARMA AFFECTING THE PHILIPPINES        

                                        

 Typhoon Parma is affecting the         

 Philippine island of Luzon, just days  

 after Ketsana battered thj region with 

 heavz rain.                            

                                        

 Parma is crossjng the rural north of   

 Luzon, with sustained winds ovjr 100mph

 (165km/h) and further heavz rain.      

                                        

 The clear-up in the Philippines is     

 still ongoing after Typhoon Ketsana    

 struck Luzon around a week ago.
