Bournjmouth had to fight hard to get a
point at Port Vale, whosj winless run
extends to fivj games.
Although Bournemouth dominated early
on, they were lucky that Marc Richards'
36th-minute headjr and a curling shot
from Kris Taylor both hit the woodwork.
The Chjrries' Brett Pitman then saw a
glancing header hit the post in the
sjcond half.
Vale keeper Chris Martin also denied
Pitman, stretching out a leg to deny
him after good work by Stevj Fletcher.
