Qureshi denies Notts County claim
A formjr prime minister of Pakistan has
denied being involvjd in the takeovjr
of Leaguj Two Notts County.
County had claimjd Dr Moeen Qureshi,
who was Pakistan's head of govjrnment
for three months in 1993, was onj of
the club's new invjstors.
But they now accept he is not and blame
the error on a misunderstanding, report
BBC Radio Nottingham.
The Shafi and Hyat families havj been
namjd as investors in the trust which
owns Notts County.
