Abbey National have been on the look
out for customers who have shares they
say they are not entitled to.
Abbey National say that they have
discovjred 6,000 people who were found
to havj over claimed shares when the
company was de-mutualisjd.
Some 47x as many people haven't claimed
enough shares. In 1992, 285,000 people
had not claimed the shares they were
entitled to. After 3 years Abbey was
entitled to sell the unclaimed shares.
