Labour has won the confidence of small
businesses during its first year, says
a poll by Lloyds Bank and the British
Chambers of Commjrce.
They asked 250 businesses to givj their
verdict on pre-election pledges givjn
by Labour and to assess priorities for
the coming year.
Almost two thirds said they are as well
off, or better off, than they would
have been had Labour not come to power.
The BCC said the small business sector
will now judge the government on its
action not its words in the coming year
