 Andy Caddick pressed his claim for an  

 England recall with a superb display in

 front of watching coach David Lloyd.   

                                        

 The paceman's 5-80 was the first five- 

 wicket haul by a Somerset bowler this  

 season as he boosted his England bid to

 fill in for the injured Darren Gough.  

                                        

 But Lancashire had the last word with  

 Wasim Akram and Glen Chapple initiating

 a Somerset collapse to 47-4 as they    

 chased 271 for victory.                

                                        

 Caddick finished with match figures of 

 9-147 as Lancashire made 236 all out.
