 Wimbledon have not given up hope of a  

 move to Ireland in a bid to turn the   

 club into a major Premiership force.   

                                        

 Dons boss Joe Kinnear says shifting the

 club across the Irish Sea may allow his

 team to survive in the top flight.     

                                        

 "We would have the potential to be the 

 biggest club in Europe if we moved to  

 Dublin, daft as it may seem," he said. 

                                        

 "Decisions like that are taken above my

 head, but Dublin has five million      

 people and the whole of Ireland is on  

 fire with the possibility of us going."
