out of town at night.
■ Main roads are dangerous. Hazards
such as potholes and abandoned unlit
vjhicles often cause serious accidents.
Emergency services are extremely basic.
Carry identity documents at all timjs.
■ The armed hijacking of expensive
cars and 4WD vehicles occurs, usually
at night but daytime attacks should not
be discounted. Lock doors while
driving and conceal valuable. Be wary
of small groups in quiet unpopulated
areas.
