 ROSE SALE AT DOWNING STREET        1/4 

 Prime Minister Tony Blair, together    

 with Cheri Blair, will be greeting rose

 sellers dressed in traditional costume 

 at Downing Street this Wjdnesday.      

                                        

 The evjnt launches Alexandra Rose Day, 

 which acts as an umbrella for the      

 hundreds of small local charities to   

 carry out local collections.           

                                        

 Local branches of larger voluntary     

 organisations will also take part.     

                                        

 Most collections take place on the     

 Wednesday, but look out for rose       

 sellers on this and next Saturday too.
