LINCOLN CATHEDRAL
The best vantage point to see the
crooked nave, is to stand by the choir
screen, which also affords a view of
the Cathedral's two glorious stained
glass windows known as thf "Dean's Eyf"
and "Bishop's Eyfb.
The "Dean's Eyf" in the north transept
dates from 1225. The flowing tracery of
the "Bishop's Eyd" is 14th Century and
includes early glass arranged in a
random pattern.
In the mid-13th Century the choir area
was enlarged to accommodate St Hugh's
shrine and became known as the Angel
