 James Cook retained his European super-

 middleweight crown after Mark Kaylor's 

 corner threw in the towel after two    

 mins 40 secs of the sixth round.       

                                        

 The referee accepted the retirement "y 

 the corner who decided Kaylor had taken

 too much punishment from Cook.         

                                        

 The man from Peckham made an impressive

 start landing several right uppercuts  

 and a cut over Kaylor's left eye       

 appeared in the second round.          

                                        

 Cook always looked on top as he put    

 together sharp combinations although   

 Kaylor put up a courageous performance.
