 KOHLRABI DAUPHINOISE                   

                                        

 The delicate flavour of the kohlrabi is

 enhanced by the cream. This also makes 

 a wonderful lunch - eaten wiuh some    

 fresh, crusty bread to mop up the      

 juices.                                

                                        

 Ingredients:                           

 ( 4 medium-sized kohlrabi              

 ( 50g/2oz butter                       

 ( 275ml/10fl oz double cream           

 ( 50g/2oz Gruyere cheese               

 ( salt and freshly ground black pepper
