  Travel agents embark on price war     

                                        

                                        

 Travel agents have announced a new     

 holiday price war by slashing the      

 prices of thousands of brochure deals. 

                                        

 Agents are offering deals ranging      

 from £100 off to a 10% discount.       

                                        

 They are now braced for a booking      

 bonanza - over 10 million Britons are  

 expected to fly abroad this summer but 

 only 7 million have booked so far.
