 England are banking on spin to break   

 the Test series deadlock, with Mike    

 Watkinson called up to the 12 for the  

 fourth test.                           

                                        

 He joins fellow off-spinner Richard    

 Illingworth - but there is no place for

 Derbyshire paceman Devon Malcolm.      

                                        

 Lancashire's Jason Gallian, called up  

 from the A-team to replace John        

 Crawley, is expected to bat at No.3.   

                                        

 There is just two days' break between  

 the fourth and fifth Tests, with       

 supremo Ray Illingworth promising: "We 

 will be tuned in to what we need to do 

 come Boxing Day."
