 CALLOUS THIEVES STEAL CHILDRENS' GIFTS 

 Police have asked for help to replace  

 Christmas gifts after a family of seven

 children awoke to find theirs had been 

 stolen from under the tree.            

                                        

 Officers said the presents were taken  

 as the family slept after returning    

 from a vigil at their local church in  

 the Sparkbrook area of Birmingham on   

 Christmas Eve.                         

                                        

 The presents taken included clothes, a 

 fire engine and bany walker.           

                                        

 Police appealed to the public for any  

 spare gifts, which they said could be  

 left at Acocks Green police station.
