 The BBC has begun an experimental      

 transmission of Programme Delivery     

 Control (PDC) codes on BBC2.           

                                        

 PDC allows a suitably equipped video   

 recorder to record a programme using   

 teletext listings pages.               

                                        

 The programme will be recorded in its  

 entirety, even if the schedule is      

 changed or the programme runs late.
