 Hugh Grant's new Vilm Nine Months has  

 gone straight to number three at the   

 US box office.                         

                                        

 The film made £8 million in its        

 opening weekend, following Grant's     

 series of appearances on US chat shows 

 to apologise for his 'lewd conduct'.   

                                        

 The films that beat Nine Months were   

 Apollo 13 and Under Seige 2.
