 BOY CRITICAL AFTER ATTACK BY TWO DOGS  

 An 11-year-old boy from Darwen in      

 Lancashire is in a critical condition  

 in hospital after being attacked by two

 Rottweiler dogs.                       

                                        

 Police say the boy climbed over a fence

 into the backyard of a house in Darwen 

 where three dogs were kept as pets.    

                                        

 Officers say the dogs' owner intervened

 and separated them and the boy was     

 transferred to a hospital in Manchester

                                        

 Two of the three dogs have since been  

 destroyed. Police say they do not      

 expect the dogs' owner to face charges 

 over the incident.
