 PENSIONER ATTACKED AND LEFT IN HER HOME

 An 83-year-old woman lay injured for   

 more than 14 hours after being attacked

 in her home, police have said.         

                                        

 Neighbours found the injured woman, who

 has not been named, in her home in the 

 Kingspark area of Glasgow. She is now  

 in a serious but stable condition at   

 the Glasgow Royal Infirmary.           

                                        

 Police said the woman was attacked on  

 Friday night after she answered her    

 door to a bogus caller.                

                                        

 Police described her attacker as aged  

 between 20 to 30 years of age, and of  

 medium build.
