 BRITON CHARGED WITH ARMS DROP IN INDIA 

 A Briton and five Latvians have        

 appeared in court in India accused of  

 dropping a large consignment of        

 weapons.                               

                                        

 Bombay police identified the Briton    

 only as Peter Bleach.                  

                                        

 They are accused of dropping off the   

 arms from a chartered aircraft last    

 week.                                  

                                        

 All six have been remanded in custody  

 until New Year's Eve.
