 Disney's 1963 animated version of the  

 legend of King Arthur. It concentrates 

 on the early life of Arthur and his    

 encounters with Merlin's magic.        

                                        

 ■ ET (BBC1, 3.40pm) This tear-jerker   

 of a sci-fi classic is a much better   

 bet than the flared Bond yarn "The Spy 

 Who Loved Me" starting on ITV now.     

 Directed by Steven Speilberg in 1982,  

 "ET" is an alien who makes friends     

 with an all-American kid. It follows   

 the boy's attempts to ET from falling
