 "SFO HAS BOWED TO POLITICAL PRESSURE"  

 Nick Leeson's lawyer has accused the   

 Serious Fraud Office of "bowing to     

 political pressure" by not seeking his 

 client's extradition.                  

                                        

 Stephen Pollard said the SFO had all   

 the "evidence it needed" to seek his   

 client's extradition, yet it was       

 sending him to Singapore to face lesser

 charges.                               

                                        

 Mr Pollard said he would "battle to    

 overturn this irrational decision".    

                                        

 The claim was "strongly denied" by an  

 SFO spokeswoman.
