 GRENADE ATTACK ON US EMBASSY IN MOSCOW 

 The US embassy in Moscow has been hit  

 by a rocket-propelled grenade, thought 

 to have been fired from a car.         

                                        

 It hit the sixth floor, shattering     

 windows, but did not enter the         

 building. There are no reports of      

 injuries and staff have been evacuated.

                                        

 Police found an abandoned grenade      

 launcher and gloves at the scene.      

                                        

 The reason for the attack is not known,

 but US officials say there is no       

 evidence to link it with Russian       

 opposition to US-led NATO air strikes  

 against Bosnian Serbs.
