 Clarence Mitchell reports on the       

 Bosnian Serbs' continued refusal to    

 withdraw guns from around Sarajevo.    

                                        

 Despite suffering new losses at the    

 hands of the Muslim and Croats, and    

 NATO, the Bosnian Serbs still want     

 guarantees before complying with       

 demands to remove heavy weaponry.      

                                        

 The Bosnian Serb foreign affairs       

 spokesman, Aleksa Buha, said only a    

 complete cessation of hostilities      

 guaranteed by the US and Russia would  

 suffice.                               

                                        

 Mr Buha admitted that the NATO attacks 

 had inflicted great damage.
