 Canadian Pizza says all talks regarding

 the possiblity of an offer being made  

 for the company have been terminated.  

                                        

 Its share price fell sharply following 

 the news, having leapt by more than    

 25% since last month's announcement    

 that bid talks were taking place.      

                                        

 In July, the troubled pizza base maker 

 warned that it expected first-half     

 pre-tax profits to more than halve to  

 £0.6m (1994: £1.4m).                   

                                        

 It is due to announce interim results  

 next Tuesday.
