 43 horses have been left in the Tote   

 Cesarewitch at the latest forfeit stage

                                        

 One intended runner is Top Cees, a     

 controversial winner of the Chester    

 Cup earlier in the season.             

                                        

 He has only raced twice since, at      

 Royal Ascot and Doncaster last week,   

 and trainer Lynda Ramsden said:        

                                        

 "He was cut after Ascot and, as he is  

 five, it took him a bit of time to get 

 over the operation.                    

                                        

 "However he is fine and we hope he runs

 well. Kieran (Fallon) will ride if he  

 can do the weight," she added.
