 Areas of the country remain closed.    

 Visitors to Djibouti City should take  

 normal safety precautions, except in   

 the town centre, avoid travelling on   

 foot at night. The should contact the  

 British Honorary Consul on arrival,    

 tel: 35 38 44.                         

                                        

 The main Djibouti-Ethopia/Eritrea      

 routes are not safe because of         

 banditry. It is strongly advised to
