 MAN GOES BEFORE BANK REP/RT            

                                        

 Heads have begun to roll at the Bank of

 England before what could be a damning 

 report on the collapse of Barings, it  

 emerged this weekend.                  

                                        

 A senior Bank of England man in charge 

 of supervising investment banks has    

 resigned, according to press reports.  

                                        

 Chris Thompson, a bank supervision     

 manager, is said to have quit after    

 seeing advance details of the report.
